The Chadar Trek is a renowned, challenging winter expedition across the frozen Zanskar River in Ladakh, India. Taking place in January and February, the 62-kilometer trek is famous for its surreal icy terrain, frozen waterfalls, and extreme sub-zero temperatures dropping to -30° C.
