Shey Village

Shey Village is a historic and scenic settlement in Ladakh, India, located just 15 km southeast of Leh. Once the ancient summer capital of the region, it is famous for the majestic Shey Palace, the colossal copper-gilded Buddha statue, and its proximity to the Druk White Lotus School (made famous by the movie 3 Idiots).
